The General Commission for Audiovisual Media signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Esports Federation to work on developing the gaming industry and creating a suitable environment for gaming. This initiative also aims to enhance regulations and policies related to gaming, with expected positive impacts on all beneficiaries, marking a significant step towards supporting and advancing the field of electronic games.
According to a press release from the Commission, the collaboration with the Federation will focus on various areas, including supporting and developing the electronic gaming sector, organizing training programs, meetings, workshops, and joint research and studies. These efforts will help keep pace with the latest developments in the gaming industry.
The cooperation agreement was signed by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, President of the Saudi Esports Federation, and Bader Alzahrani, CEO of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media.
