As part of its awareness efforts, the General Authority for Media Regulation participated in the "#Our_Security_Awareness" exhibition, which opened on May 6 and lasted for three days.
The exhibition, supervised by the General Administration of Education in the Makkah Region and involving nine governmental bodies, was primarily aimed at high school students. Its mission centered on three main themes: fostering loyalty to the nation and its leadership, reinforcing religious values, and enhancing social intellectual awareness.
The General Authority for Media Regulation highlighted the importance of media awareness at the exhibition. The Authority's participation included informing visitors about its role and the services it provides, such as regulatory guidelines for media content, explaining the age classification for films and electronic video games, and aspects of the "Mowthoq" license.
The presence of government officials and representatives from official bodies, including the Director of the General Administration of Education in the Makkah Region and the Director of the Holy Capital Police, among others, underscored the importance of the awareness event and its role in promoting the concept of a vibrant and secure society.
