The General Authority for Media Regulation has announced the start of receiving applications for media permits to cover this year’s Hajj season through the Media Platform: elaam.gamr.gov.sa.

This announcement is part of the Authority's efforts to provide the best services and support to local and international media outlets, facilitating the media coverage of the Hajj season, which is a global event by all standards.

The Authority offers four main types of permits for covering the season’s events:

Local media delegation permit.
International media delegation permit.
Temporary radio and television studio setup permit.
Satellite uplink vehicle permit.
The General Authority for Media Regulation emphasized the need to obtain a "No Objection Certificate" for filming in the holy sites. It noted that conducting any media activity during the Hajj season without the required permit constitutes a clear violation of the laws in the Kingdom and exposes the violator to legal accountability.

The Authority invited all relevant individuals and institutions to contact them through their official channels for appropriate support with their media tasks and to answer any inquiries regarding Hajj season permit applications for this year.
