As it prepares for the Hajj season 1445 AH, the General Authority for Media Regulation, in partnership with the Media and Marketing Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mecca, organized a workshop titled "Media Work Mechanisms for Hajj Season 1445 AH," under the slogan (Partnership, Organization, Support, Development).
The workshop targeted media production institutions, television and radio channels, advertising agencies, and printing institutions. It covered the regulations and guidelines of the General Authority for Media Regulation and the media practices during the Hajj season, including the issuance of field photography permits and related procedures.
Participants also learned about the services the Authority provides to media professionals during the Hajj season, such as facilitating the entry of equipment and devices through international ports and setting up temporary studios in the holy sites.
Additionally, this year, the General Authority for Media Regulation launched the unified media card service for local and international media professionals, which facilitates their work operations with ease.
